MBTIMBTI tool is based on studies conducted by Carl Jung about human perceptions and responses to various situations in how we experience the world. Myers- Briggs, the mother daughter duo further established and formulated this psychometric questionnaire to throw light on personality types to understand and appreciate differences between people.
The MBTI sorts some of these psychological differences into four opposite pairs, or dichotomies, with a resulting 16 possible psychological types. None of these types are better or worse; however, Briggs and Myers theorized that individuals naturally prefer one overall combination of type differences.
MBTI is great tool to understand self and others at a deeper level.
